Housecalls for pets

My goal is to provide comprehensive wellness and medical care for your pets in the comfort of their home.  Not all pets enjoy travel to a hospital, and many get very stressed in a hospital environment.  I will arrive at your home and then will take the time your pet needs to get acquainted.  We will discuss your pet's previous medical history, and you will have my full attention to discuss your pet's health, nutrition, behavior, quality of life or any other concerns you may have.  Based on all this information, I will make recommendations regarding the care that is appropriate for your pet.  Your input in this process is very important, for I find that when I can partner with owners in the care of their pets, the best possible outcomes are achieved.

Within the home, I can work wherever a pet is most comfortable.  For dogs, this is often a favorite bed or comfy spot on a sofa.  Cats sometimes hide when they hear a knock or doorbell ring.  If possible, planning ahead to keep cats in a favorite room with the door closed can make it easier to find them, and less stressful for them when I visit.
